Random Thought No. 894

Is it just me or do you notice that every time you are taking a left turn onto on-coming traffic and there is a car just far enough away to make it that they jump on their gas to kill your chances?

Or on the flip side, if there is a car coming with no one behind them and you realize there is no chance you can make it they then slow down to a snail like pace?

Yep. Happens every time. Especially at that corner where Waltham Street spits out onto Pleasant in Watertown. Bastards.

People suck!!

In Northampton where I live pedestrians think they own the town and just walk of the curb with out stopping to see if cars are coming. I grew up in Boston where you look both ways and run even if you don't see anything coming!! The pedestrians cause more accidents than drivers.

One of those, eh? :-)

I don't think I explained it right (again, I drink alot), but I have to take a left turn onto my street and there is oncoming traffic in the right lane. So I'm not really getting in front of anyone (perish that thought!) - so I'm totally with you on that, every time I try to be nice and let someone go in front of me, or worse than that they cut me off, they WITHOUT FAIL go 5 mph! Dammit now I'm worked up.
